Job Title: RELEASE MANAGER
Location: CAMBRIDGE
Salary: £50,000-£65,000
Our Cambridge based client have an urgent requirement for an experienced Release Manager.
Our client provides the opportunity to work in a thriving working environment, with at least one major release per month, and offers a market leading salary and benefits package.
Working closely alongside the Application Development, Management and Change teams, you will be responsible for ensuring changes to software and components are deployed successfully, without customer impact wherever possible.
As Release Manager, you must possess experience of managing the entire process, from planning and preparation (including stakeholder and supplier liaison), right through to acting as Implementation Manager at release. Recognising the importance of setting and meeting service level agreements, and being able to demonstrate an awareness of commercial and contractual issues, is evidently key.
Our client are seeking a Release Manager with:
- A track record of delivering in the deployment of software and component changes
- Understanding of the full software development life cycle
- Excellent communication skills
- A software engineering/technical/test engineering background
- Experience of reporting and documenting as required by agreed governance models, and regulatory/legal requirements.
- Experience of working in the financial sector (advantageous)
