Recruitment for the Offshore Renewable Energy Sector
The Cooper Lomaz Oil, Gas and Renewable Energy Division recently completed a major
recruitment campaign for Scira, a Norwegian company that is currently developing
the Sheringham Shoal Offshore Windfarm off the coast of Norfolk.
The deployment of Cooper Lomaz’s in-depth expertise and resources led to the successful
appointment of two mechanical engineers, two electrical engineers, six marine co-ordinators,
a finance manager, human resources manager, communications manager and a health
and safety inspector. Since then we have supported the company to grow to an 18
strong team that consists of permanent and contract candidates in other specialism’s
from project managers to Wind analysts with the number continuing to grow.
With today’s emphasis on green energy, this significant move into the renewable
energy sector builds on the 56 years’ combined experience of the Cooper Lomaz engineering
team whose work covers the oil and gas industry, food manufacturing and supply chain
functions.
Heading up the new Oil, Gas and Renewable Energy Division is Emma Painter. With
nine years’ experience of working in the Norfolk oil and gas sectors, Emma has
developed considerable sector knowledge and expertise whilst building strong local
relationships within the industry.
