Jagex Limited, one the of world's largest independent online games companies, was founded in 2001 as a developer and publisher of online games and saw the launch of the MMORPG (Massively Multi-player Online Role Playing Game) ‘RuneScape’. The 3 co-founders were rapidly joined by other team members in order to support the operation of the game and to ensure its continued development. At the beginning of 2007 our team has grown to over 370 staff which makes us one of the UK’s largest games studios. We aim to continue to develop and improve RuneScape as well as creating other exciting games to expand our overall audience.
