“Now entering our 19th year, Cooper Lomaz has seen significant changes to the world of recruitment.
Whilst once there might have been a move towards long term employment, perhaps with just one life time employer, both clients and candidates alike are considering more flexible routes that reflect the market place whilst also recognising the importance of achieving a good “work/life” balance.
In 2009, we believe we will see further changes to the job market with severe economic pressures
on many businesses. Our observations and extensive information from clients suggest that salary
movements are likely to be minimal, and an emphasis on flexibility on working arrangements is
high on the agenda.
This years Salary Survey illustrates that the once significant variables of salary between the Eastern counties has narrowed throughout 2008 with both Norfolk and Suffolk moving towards Cambridgeshire and Essex rates.
