About us

We're fiercely independent, relentlessly focused and infinitely passionate about all things recruitment.

Having opened our doors back in 1990 it's inspiring to see just how much of what powered our business forward then is still rich in our culture today.

For the past 30 years people have been the core of our business, and respecting this has always stood us apart. We combine our extensive knowledge and experience with a focused energy and an ambition to succeed. This potent mix has led us to become one of the longest-standing and most successful independent recruitment agencies in the East of England.

All great stories have a beginning

Cooper lomaz was founded by Jane Lovell and Charlotte Cooper, colleagues who shared a passion for exceptional service, a focus on results and an eye always on the future. In 1990, they took the leap and created Cooper Lomaz Recruitment with the aim to become a 'household name' in the world of specialist recruitment.

In order to become that 'household name' we've been powered by an unrelenting hunger for greatness; in ourselves, in our clients and in our candidates. This energy helped us develop our company vision and values which act as a guiding light for all of our employees. Individually, they may seem obvious but together, they make a unique company culture that demonstrates what we stand for and how we act.
