Significant and positive steps here at Cooper Lomaz

I have made some significant and positive steps here at Cooper Lomaz as we begin to push forward following the Coronavirus lockdown.


During what has been a challenging time, we have kept our centre of attention and planning very much around the needs of our clients and candidates, whilst in the background we have embraced change for future success and business growth. To that end, we have retained our highly successful and valued employees, secured some excellent new talent, established a European division and restructured our leadership team to ensure we are in a strong place to take advantage of this evolving market place.

The above has enabled us to plan and begin delivering a return to work schedule and to ensure we are best placed to offer the very highest level of service and delivery to our clients and candidates.


We are pleased to be fully operational and trading from our locations in Norwich, Bury St Edmunds and Brentwood (London); following some excellent work by Emma O’Brien, our Head of HR. Our offices are COVID secure and we have been able to return our teams to the new normal working environment.


Significant additions to our team include Stuart Bullen who joined as EMEA Director tasked with business development and growth of our portfolio across mainland Europe, the US and London. I am also very pleased to announce that Charlette Hinds, who has a wealth of experience partnering with international clients across European territories, will be leading our team in London working on the European market.

I am extremely excited by the growth we are achieving in this part of our business and I see the London-based team expanding significantly over the next 12 months as we are already working in close partnership with several Tech clients from the US who have based their development centres on the European mainland.

Cooper Lomaz Norwich has a new look with the appointment of Nick Hunter as IT & Digital Technology Recruitment Manager, Henry Dawson joining our business as Team Leader of our contracts team and Michael Meyer driving contract growth whilst supporting me on operational projects.


Nick Hunter recently returned to Cooper Lomaz having spent almost 11 years away from the business and has a first-class reputation with many clients, candidates and team members right across the East of England. 

I am delighted that Nick is stepping up and is now part of the senior leadership team here at Cooper Lomaz. He will report to me whilst being responsible for our permanent business in our Norwich office.


Henry Dawson, who joins Cooper Lomaz from Hays, has significant experience in contract recruitment gained mainly within the Public Sector. Henry will lead our contracts team spearheading growth across both Public and Private sectors. He will be supported by a highly knowledgeable and experienced team and work closely with Michael Meyer to expand existing client relationships and develop new business until Michael transitions to a more centrally based operational role.

I am delighted to announce that Donna West has returned from maternity leave to lead our Technical Engineering and Food Manufacturing business in Bury St Edmunds. Donna, who has been very much missed, returns with a fully client-focused and people leadership role ultimately responsible for our Bury St Edmunds operation.

Donna will work very closely with Adrienne Howlett, Team Leader, and our highly experienced and successful team with first-class structure and proven delivery capability, to ensure we are providing our clients with exceptional service levels in addition to leading the recruitment team.
