Job description

An extremely well established and desirable Accountancy Firm in Bury St Edmunds is looking for a Business Services Assistant Manager and is offering an extremely competitive salary.

The ideal Business Services Assistant Manager will have

  • ICAEW/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
  • Previous experience of working in a UK accountancy practice
  • Experience of drafting accounts from both manual and computerised records
  • Experience of producing and reporting on management accounts
  • Experience of producing personal and corporate tax computations/returns
  • Setting up accounting systems/functions
  • Experience of preparing VAT and P11D returns

Desirable knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Sage accounts, Xero, Quickbooks, CCH Accounts, Aplphatax, Evolution
  • Experience of overseeing day to day work on client engagements, mentoring and developing team members
