Mechanical engineering maintenance knowledge?
Enjoy dealing with customers and can solve problems, thinking on your feet?
If so we have a great opportunity for you as a Service Engineer.
On a day to day basis you'll be offering remote based technical support and onsite visits where problems are escalated.
Travelling approx 40 weeks of the year, you'll be interacting with your customers on a daily basis, diagnosing problems & offering guidance and solutions.
The products and equipment are generally used in power generation and utilities industries, a strong market to be in and also recession proof. Unique technology producing clean water solutions and full training is available to support your career here.
- Servicing and Maintenance
- Fault Finding to drive better equipment performance
- Site Visits / Field Service when required (approx. 2 weeks per year)
- Manage reporting systems
THE RIGHT PERSON: -
You'll be a good engineer or technician preferable with a mechanical bias but also comfortable to understand electrical or electronics aspects to a degree.
You'll need to demonstrate suitable experience in dealing with maintenance/service engineering with respect of commissioning or installation or maintaining plant machinery.
Being a customer facing role experience in dealing with clients is advantageous alongside good communication skills.
