This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join a high growth, innovative business based in Suffolk. My client is a young, ambitious company, who although at the early stages are already operating globally and work closely with some established big brands as their trusted partners.

The organisation are looking for a fast thinking, ambitious Assistant Project Accountant with a great attention to detail to join their team. You will be required to provide accounting, financial and commercial support in order to support the company's continuous growth.

Responsibilities will include;

Create initial project forecast in excel, together with set up in Sage 50
Collate project related records, to include contracts, POs and change orders
Ensure project forecasts are updated with accurate costs and revenues monthly
Provide monthly report on project variances
Project close out reconciliations
Monthly WIP reconciliations
Cashflow forecasting
Attendance of weekly and monthly project meetings

Skills and experience

Passionate about working in a fast moving, changing environment
Part qualified
Great attention to detail
Excellent communication and presentational skills
Good IT skills (advanced Excel)
Ability to present and explain financial terms to non-financial stakeholders
