Job descriptionDevOps Engineer Norwich £35,000 - £45,000 26 days annual leave + Bank Holidays, Pension + more Permanent - Full Time An established and well respected Software House who operate within a really interesting software product specialism, delivering solutions worldwide are keen to build on their recent success by adding a DevOps Engineer to their team. Working with this organmisation offers you the chance to work on a new and modern codebase, within a business being invested in heavily, and building a truly global product, all based within the heartbeat of Norwich City Centre. The product you'd be working on harnesses a really interesting mix of cutting edge technology and agile delivery to ensure the solution stays ahead within the market, and ensures your skills will grow too! Your role will involve a mix of automation, environment provision, and monitoring and application deployment, within a unique hybrid environment. You will ideally be an established DevOps Engineer passionate or skilled with a command line script for automation, or you will be a Cloud Administrator who has a background in and wants to get more involved with a more collaboratively driven software environment. If you were from a hosted Applications background and have an appetite to transition into the space and enjoy cloud and automation, then it would be great to hear from you too. You will be an energetic, and technically astute DevOps Engineer who has: - Good Cloud Infrastructure knowledge - Experience with Infrastructure as Code solutions to allow for the automated provisioning of instances (CloudFormation, Terraform or similar) - A strong understanding of Automation Scripts (Python, Bash, Perl, Linux Shell) - Ability to implement and manage environment monitoring solutions - An understanding of Linux Systems The core technology environment you would have the opportunity to be involved with and further learn & upskill would include: - AWS - Linux (Centos / Debian) - Python The following skills would be absolutely ideal: - CI/CD tooling (Jenkins / TeamCity / Bamboo or similar) - Selenium for TDD - Docker or Kubernetes for Containers - Agile Delivery approach Benefits include: - Up to £45k basic salary - Company pension scheme - 26 days annual leave + Bank Holidays - Discretionary bonus - Training budget To apply for this fantastic DevOps position giving you opportunity to work with CI/CD, Automation, IaC & Containerisation technology, Apply Now!
