Wisbech
up to £38,000
Monday to Friday - Days - 8 hours

If so, I am currently recruiting for your next opportunity.

I am currently working with a company who are looking to take on a multi-skilled Engineer to come and join a well-established and long standing team. You will be joining a company that has been growing and developing since they were founded well over 50 years ago. As an engineer, you will be offered training that is second to none and be given the opportunity to hone and develop the skills that you already have. When you start working on site, you will be reporting in to the newly appointed engineering manager or is already implementing new and innovative ideas to continuously make improvements that are re-enforcing the fact that this company is the best at what they do.

You will be working alongside a fantastic team of engineers on, working Monday to Friday on 8 hour shifts. For this, they will be paying up to £38,000 for someone with the right experiences. Day to day, you will be responsible for all things engineering whether it's reactive or planned maintenance or working with steam and different boilers on site. Your day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Tend to all aspects of the factory, whether it's manufacturing machinery or site services
  • Perform pre planned maintenance, outlined by the company, in a timely and efficient manner
  • Report to breakdowns on all machinery, including steam peelers
  • Contribute to new ideas as the company strives for improvement

In order to carry out these day to day responsibilities, you will be required to have gained the following experiences and skills:

  • Extensive experience working in a Factory environment in the FMCG/Food manufacturing industry
  • Strong multi-skilled engineering background, with an electrical bias
  • 18th edition ideally, 17th edition as a minimum
  • A great working knowledge of Pneumatics, Maintenance both planned and reactive, and site services in an FMCG/Food Manufacturing environment
