Electrical Engineer
Monday to Friday Nights reduced hours on Friday

As an Electrical engineer on the night shift you will be a vital member of the company to work as part of a smaller night shift team. This company wants you to integrate with all departments and be approachable in order to resolve and understand the breakdowns which could occur. Although you will need to become an expert of site and be the go to person for the PLC and electrical works they expect to train you up to this level and will provide PLC training internally and externally along with an array of other qualifications and environment training to get you to this level.

Day to day your responsibilities will include:

- Fault finding, maintaining and repairing site services, manufacturing and process and packaging equipment
- Fault finding, programming and maintaining PLCs
- Carrying out both Planned and reactive maintenance
- Contribute and carry out ideas and projects, looking at continuous improvements
- Training and developing apprentices and younger members of staff to help develop and diversify the engineering skill set

In order to be considered for this position, you will need to have gained the following the skill set and experience:

- Strong working knowledge of Siemens S7
- Extensive experience working in Food Manufacturing
- Apprentice trained multi-skilled engineer
- Genuine multi-skilled working knowledge
- Natural leadership ability with a background in training and developing individual
