Technical Product Support Engineer Salary: £45-55K Location: Papworth, Cambridge UK We are working with a growing global telecommunications organisation who are recruiting for a Technical Support Engineer to support the team with producing exceptional documentation, internal training, support platform maintaining and post-Sales support on all aspects of the technology and product range. Within this role you will work closely with the Product Management and R&D Team to ensure all the features designed and implemented are to the best interest of end users and create online training material for each product whilst undertaking the evaluation of usability and provide feedback to the Product Management and Technology Teams as appropriate. Within this new role you will be working alongside the Testing Team to undertake customer focused testing of all new software releases and prioritize defeats dealing with licensing issues and making sure make licenses sold or issued match with contracts/ PoC agreements. The successful candidate will ,monitor and maintain the support platform (Service Cloud) so they run smoothly and you will be working directly with clients specialising within telecommunications. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Formal Education & Certification • Degree level education in Telecommunication Engineering or Computing Science is preferred (or equivalent qualification/experience) Knowledge & Experience • Considerable experience in planning, designing and optimizing wireless networks or simular • Experience in OSS in the Telecommunications industry • Effective communication and presentation skills • Experience using Service Cloud Personal Attributes • Excellent verbal and written communication skill • A driven team player with the ability to take ownership when required • Able to work with all levels of management and across geographical and cultural boundaries • Adapts quickly to new processes, concepts and ways of working • Comfortable working under pressure and in an environment of changing priorities
