Cooper Lomaz marked its 25 year anniversary last week, with staff enjoying food, drink and games in the sun at a celebration at Sprowston Manor. Cooper Lomaz staff made their way to the manor on Friday afternoon, with work finishing early so employees could enjoy more of the sun.

After listening to senior management give presentations on where the company is headed and reflecting on 25 years of success (capped by rapid growth in 2014), staff were treated to a barbeque buffet and drinks. Once the burgers, kebabs and vegetables had been served it was time for the main event: The Tug of War.

Battle commenced with several smaller contests taking place after the first. Other games available included a rodeo bull and coconut shy. Staff also entered to win a number of prizes kindly donated by companies Cooper Lomaz works with.

All money raised from tickets and auctions was donated to East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH), Cooper Lomaz’s corporate charity. Overall the event raised £1,391, with big ticket items including a trip to the Shard and meal at Gordon Ramsay’s Union Street , and 4 ball golf at Sprowston Manor.

“It’s amazing to think that Cooper Lomaz has been around for 25 years now,” said Mark Fletcher, Operations Director. “The celebration at Sprowston Manor was a great way to mark the occasion. We’ve got a fantastic team and we’ve been able to grow the business rapidly over the last few years. Here’s to the next 25 years!”
