LinkedIn Recruiter is one of the most valuable tools a recruitment consultant can have, in order to find the correct candidates for roles. It allows recruiters to view and contact anyone on LinkedIn, and search for candidates using specific filters such as job titles, qualifications, location and even specific companies that people work for.

Cooper Lomaz recently sent Hertfordshire IT Consultant, Thomas Parkinson, down to London to take his LinkedIn Certified Recruiter Exam and he passed with a rather impressive 92% in a 1.5 hour assessment made up of 70 practical questions.

During the test for which Thomas studied extensively, he was asked a variety of questions on the practical use of LinkedIn such as using the search function, filters, how to eliminate and select candidates, and how to send more intelligent messages in order to be more efficient and get more responses from candidates.

Thomas is the first Cooper Lomaz consultant to become a Certified LinkedIn Recruiter and we’re really proud of what he’s achieved.
