As part of our Charity drive for Break this year, we’ve been thinking about what we can do to raise money for charity so we’ve gone for a big one… The National Three Peaks Challenge.

We’re going to push ourselves to the limit in what is arguably the largest feat of endurance that you can do within the British Isles, climbing thousands of metres up and down some of the tallest peaks in the U.K. within 24 hours, all for a great cause.

How Tough is it?

The short answer is very but here are some statistics to back up this claim:

The Mountains:

Ben Nevis (Scotland) – 4,409ft

Scafell Pike (England) – 3,209ft

Snowdon (Wales) – 3,560ft

The Totals:

Time – 24 Hours

Total Distance Walked – 27 Miles

Total Ascent: 9,800ft

As you can see, this is an incredible challenge that’s only for the bravest of our members of staff, and it’s all for a great cause.

We’d love it if you could help us raise some money for the disadvantaged children and families the Break continues to care for and support each year:
