Last Friday, Cooper Lomaz Recruitment held their Norfolk Day Celebration breakfast at The Library, Guildhall Hill in Norwich City Centre.

It was marvellous to see so many of the great and the good of the Norfolk business community gather together over a locally sourced breakfast, including a glass of fizz from Flint Vineyard based in Earsham.

This special networking occasion brought together 50 guests from over 35 Norfolk businesses, including Norfolk Institute of Directors, Steeles Law, Kettle Foods, Benedict’s, Howes Percival along with the Deputy Lord Mayor of Norwich and Chloe Smith MP.

The message on this very hot morning was very clear to be heard, that the County is full of glowing people and businesses with opportunities and talent, which should be showcased both locally and further afield.  We should all be proud of what we are achieving and we should be continually pressing the Norfolk message.

Simon Brown, Managing Director of Cooper Lomaz said: “I am absolutely delighted with how Cooper Lomaz Recruitment’s Norfolk Day breakfast has gone.  We had a full turnout, a great mix of people, and some fantastic conversations about everything from shouting louder about Norfolk, to the fact we think every Friday would be better if it started with a champagne breakfast.  I am so proud that Cooper Lomaz Recruitment were able to put on this event, and very grateful to the support of my team who worked hard to deliver a fantastic event.  Next year can’t come soon enough!”

Dan Orsborne, Head of Development of WEX Photo Video said: Thanks Simon and team for arranging the Norfolk Day networking event!  It was great to meet up with everyone and celebrate what’s great about Norfolk business.  As always it was a great event, well attended and what a great excuse to have a glass of bubbly at breakfast!”

Simone Robinson, Regional Director, IoD East of England said: ‘I found the event very beneficial. I met some great people at the event and at the atmosphere was most celebratory!’

The morning proved to be a blazing success, showing regardless of business size or sector, Norfolk is a great place to do business.

Cooper Lomaz Recruitment would also like to extend their thanks to Kettle Foods and Wilkinson’s of Norwich who kindly supported the event.
