As part of our 2017 Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, last night 20 Cooper Lomaz employees including Operations Director Mark Fletcher participated in a fire walk for our chosen corporate charity, Break.

The event which took place in King’s Lynn saw 100 people in total walk on 1,200 degree hot coals over the course of the evening in order to raise money for charity.

Operations Director Mark Fletcher said “The fire walk last night was great fun but very mentally challenging because you’re unsure whether or how much it will hurt! We’re so proud to have done it and to have raised so much money for charity in the process”

Cooper Lomaz raised over £900 for the event, and is looking forward to more fundraising events over the course of the year including the National Three Peaks challenge which sees 9 members of staff climb the three highest peaks in the UK, and 5 people jump out of a plane at 13,000 feet!
