The Norfolk Institute of Directors’ annual dinner is always worthwhile. Directors and other senior executives from some of the region’s leading companies gather to hear a keynote speaker, experience fine dining and, of course, do a portion of networking.

Cooper Lomaz were pleased to be sponsoring the event again, having done so before in 2013. Several members of staff attended the dinner, including both joint-CEOs Charlotte Cooper and Jane Lovell, along with their chosen guests.

Taking place at Dunston Hall, over 200 guests gathered for a champagne reception before heading into the main hall for a gourmet 3 course meal. They then heard from speaker Dr Phil Hammond, known for breaking the story of the Bristol heart scandal and for being part of comedy duo Struck Off and Die.

“The dinner was a great success, it was one of the most well attended Norfolk IoD events I’ve been to in recent years” said Cooper Lomaz Operations Director Mark Fletcher. “We’re very proud as a company to be sponsoring this event again and it really felt like those who attended had a great time and got a lot out of it.”

David Sneddon, head of the Cooper Lomaz Executive Search team, was among those who praised Dr Hammond’s talk: “I think it was one of the best events we have attended, great speaker! The venue and staff were excellent and I felt the guests were very impressed and enjoyed the event.”
