Classed as the ultimate gathering on the Cooper Lomaz Recruitment Calendar, next Friday sees the return of our Annual Summer Social!

The trainers have been pulled out from the back of the cupboard and sportswear is at the ready, as the staff are transported back to their school days and take a nostalgic trip down memory lane.

Yes, we can reveal this year’s theme is SPORTS DAY!

There will be no excuses for anyone, as all three offices at Cooper Lomaz Recruitment will get off work early, and enjoy the afternoon off, to participate in this much awaited event of the year!

Our teams from the Norwich, Bury and Colchester office’s will board their ‘party bus’ at lunchtime and head down the A11 to High Lodge in Thetford Forest, this year’s venue.

The teams from all offices have been chosen and team colours allocated, captains have stepped up for nomination and team names decided (after some considerable banter in the office).

So with everything organised, there is everything to play for! Yes, and don’t we know it. There is much talk already of game plans being drawn up next week, as team competitiveness heightens.

Testing the team’s fitness and levels of physical activity, events for the day will include the good old fashioned egg and spoon race, sack race, three legged race, bean bag balance and the most anticipated event of the day – ‘Simon’s Special Relay Race’.

For those that still have enough energy and that competitive streak left in them, the fun won’t stop there. There is the opportunity to put their batting skills to the test as they take part in a game of intercompany rounders, followed by the ultimate test of strength – a tug of war (Alex Jones we know you have been in training for this one!)

The day will be rounded off with a food fuelled BBQ in the evening, cracking open a few bottles and a chance for the all the team to celebrate, the years successes so far.
