The Cooper Lomaz Bake Off returned last week; again seeking to raise money for our corporate charity, East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH). This time the action wasn’t merely confined to our Bury St Edmunds office, however. The battle spread to our Norwich base, with consultants from both offices competing to be crowned Star Baker.

Desserts for sale ranged from traditional sponge towers to muffins, chocolate strawberries, and rice crispy cakes. Among the most unusual efforts were a chilli burger and a 10 foot sausage roll! All money from the sale of the cakes/desserts/miscellaneous baked goods went to EACH.

The eventual winners were Craig Townsend from Norwich and Luke Hounsell from Bury St Edmunds. Overall the Bake Off raised £89.28 for EACH, who provide important help and support for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across East Anglia.
