100% delicious. Their snacks include Fruit and Veggie pouches as well as SUPER Oats & Seeds pouches – all with natural ingredients, gluten and BPA free.
What did they need?
PT Organics had a Supply Planner based in their San Francisco office who decided to move onto pastures new. This provided them with the opportunity to open candidate pool to include both the US and the England, specifically the Norfolk area where their UK HQ is based.
The directors wanted the their new Supply Planner to be able to get involved in strategic planning as well as day to day responsibilities. Culture, attitude and work-ethic would also be fundamental in the selection process.
Finally, due to the locations of some of their sites throughout the US, their new hire would need to be open to working flexible hours.
What did we do?
PT Organic’s Director, Amanda Pead had previously worked with our co-founder Charlotte Cooper and so when this role became available, she reached out to our current Food Manufacturing team. Our Food Manufacturing team leader, Adrienne Howlett then arranged to meet with Amanda to fully understand their processes and to gather as much information about the role as possible to feedback to her team based at our HQ in Bury St Edmunds.
Amanda made us aware that another recruitment consultancy in San Francisco would also be sourcing potential candidates and an agreement was made between us to be entirely open and honest about our progress.
We agreed a timescale with PT Organics as well as a 4-stage interview process to ensure that the candidate could understand the business
from different viewpoints and allow PT organics to make the right decision for their team.
We then got to work sourcing high quality candidates and provided a shortlist to Amanda by our agreed deadline. This including a broad range of people to show them what they could expect from the local market with regards to experience and salary expectations. We then briefed and interviewed each candidate prior to them meeting with Amanda.
Our team managed the offer stage throughout including pre-closing candidates to help streamline the process from both sides. It was important for PT Organics to be open with each of the candidates about their decisions and we supported this by passing on their honest feedback.
We’re delighted that the successful candidate has settled well into the business and is delivering the same high standards that PT Organics have set for themselves. Having been made redundant by their previous employer, they’re thrilled to be working for a company with huge potential for growth.
