Cooper Lomaz are currently seeking a Support engineer who will be supporting my clients customers covering 1st and 2nd Line Support. This new role will be responding to a range of customer and technical queries where you will be dealing with both commercial & technical contacts.
The appointed candidate will be providing the known first point of contact for all Support and integration Incidents and Service requests. You will be providing 1st line and some 2nd line Support for internal & external customers and you will gain exposure of IT Service Management tools, making sure SLAs are met by responding to and resolving tickets in a timely manner. The successful candidate will perform troubleshooting on integration issues and recommend appropriate solutions and monitor all integration maintenance activities.
Applications will have a proven experience within IT Support as well as a demonstrable experience working with complex databases and SQL. It is essential you are able to build customer rapport and able to work on multiple problems or projects at one given time whilst working under pressure.
Key Skills and Experience
·Experience working within 1st / 2nd Line Support
·Understanding of Databases and SQL.
·Exposure to Web Technologies.
·A strong level of general technical knowledge.
·An understanding of complex data structures.
·Excellent communication skills, including building customer rapport.
·Ability to work under own initiative
