Title: Multi-Skilled Engineer
Location: Cambridgeshire
Salary: £37,500 to £50,000 (DOE)
Cooper Lomaz are partnered with a leading construction equipment supplier based in Cambridgeshire to source an experienced Muli Skilled Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for undertaking various workshop activities to ensure machines are effectively manufactured maintained and prepared.
You will need to have a background in mechanical Engineering and have proven experience of fitting and mechanical skills working with hydraulics and / or electrical systems on heavy plant.
There will be an initial 3-month probation period, which upon completion you will be taken on permanently.
Key responsibilities:
As a Multi Skilled Engineer you will undertake workshop activities including:
- Maintenance and overhaul of used heavy machines
- Preparation of new machines
- Production and manufacture of new products
Required skills:
- Experience working with Hydraulics and Heavy Plant Machinery
- Proven Fitting and Mechanical skills
- Performing planned inspections, maintenance and repairs of used machines
Desired skills:
- Qualification in a mechanical engineering discipline preferred OR relevant commercial experience
- Experience working with electrical Systems on heavy plant
