Workplace type: Hybrid working 1 day a week on site
Salary: Up to £47k DOE
Working with a global energy enterprise, this exciting new role offers you the chance to work in a dedicated team working with a UK& global client base providing engineering solutions.
Your role as Proposals Engineer will include:
- The preparation of proposals evolving from initial bids, delivering documentation which includes scope/cost analysis/supply.
- Working with the Sales Manager in bid execution
- Site visits when needed for costing purposes
- Cash flow, costings, follow up on proposals and amend when needed.
- Completion of handover packages to After Sales and Operations teams when projects are secured.
- Information gathering of supplier quotes, pricing for steelwork, cabling, valves and piping and all associated apparatus.
- Working directly with clients.
- Collating Mechanical and electrical information needed for tenders
- Database management of costings from vendors to assist finance and procurement to ensure all current information is available.
- Management of multiple tenders at various stages and strong project management of the workloads
- Reading and interpretation of drawings, engineering specifications and contracts
Your skill set can include:
- Strong organisation skills
- Computer literacy with MSOffice
- Experience working in AutoCAD/ Inventor
- Reading Process Flow and instrumentation diagrams
- Knowledge of utilities/Energy industry
- Engineering background
- Methodical, mathematical, and logical approach
You will be educated to degree level with a relevant qualification in Environmental, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
