Job description
We are seeking a Skilled Electromechanical Engineer - electrical bias, to join our clients dedicated team at their manufacturing site based near Dereham. Operating in a 24/7 environment, your role will be pivotal in ensuring seamless operations by maintaining and troubleshooting machinery during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance to ensure the smooth running of production machinery.
- Contribute to the transition towards further automated processes with your strong electrical knowledge.
- Collaborate with production staff to address operational issues promptly and effectively.
Requirements:
- ONC/HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- NVQ Level 3
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a factory/production environment
Desirable:
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
- Knowledge of PLCs
- Familiarity with Inverter & Servo Drives
Preferred experience with:
- Motors/Gearboxes
- PLCs
- Inverter & Servo Drives
- Pneumatics
- Hydraulics
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, with weekend availability as needed
