Cooper Lomaz have partnered with a successful business based in Bury St Edmunds to source a product owner to join their expanding team. This role will see you working with their existing clients, as well as new clients. The role will see you support the clients, deliver new products, and provide a consultancy view to the product. You will be working with the internal IT Support and Development team, to ensure the products meets the clients needs and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather and prioritise requirements for software products.
- Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring their needs and expectations are clearly communicated to the development team.
- Define and prioritise the product backlog, working closely with developers, designers, and other team members to deliver high-quality software on time and within scope.
- Drive the development process from concept to delivery, ensuring that the final product meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular customer feedback sessions to gather insights and refine product features accordingly.
About you:
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably as a Product Owner, Implementation or similar, in a software development environment.
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in implementing bespoke software solutions is highly desirable.
