Job Title: IT Network Manager 
Location: Southampton 
Salary:  Up to £60,000 per annum 
 
Cooper Lomaz are excited to offer a career opportunity with a global company in with an office based in Southampton for an IT Network Manager. This opportunity is a full-time permanent post where you will be joining the business as it continues to go from strength to strength. 
 
Role Overview:

This is a hands-on technical role where you will lead a dynamic team, and be at the forefront of the continuous availability of the company’s UK Wide networks. This role will be managing teams across different sites, and irregular travel to other offices will be required. 
 
Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage the company’s existing UK Networks, ensuring continuous availability, and managing the backups, and network devices.
  • Analyse, plan and implement new network technologies to keep the business in line with new solutions.
  • Set objectives and SLAs for the network team, mentoring and upskilling the team, and performing annual reviews.
  • Test and implement regular disaster recovery plans.  
  • Manage the daily running of the company IP Addresses, firewalls, LANs, WANs and Microsoft products. 
 
Required Skills:

  • You will have experience working in either a Network Manager or Team Lead position, with a minimum of 2 years experience.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of Cisco Technologies and Network Monitoring Tools.
  • A degree in IT is essential.
  • Hold a CCNP or similar qualifications.  
  • Experience working with on-prem and cloud-based datacenters.  
  • Experience with virtualisation or storage is desirable.  
  • Extensive knowledge of WAN, LAN, Firewalls and IP.  
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery planning, testing and designing is desirable .
 
Salary & Location:

  • This is based in their Southampton office, but travel to the company's other offices will be required from time to time.  
  • This is a hybrid opportunity, with a minimum of 2 days per week onsite.  
  • This has a salary of up to £60,000 per annum depending on experience.
