Job Title: Service Engineer
Location: Norwich
Salary: up to £36,500 per annum

If so, this opportunity is tailor-made for you! Our esteemed client in Norwich is seeking a dynamic Service Engineer to join their expanding team.

Role Highlights:

  • Conduct service itineraries in strict adherence to Company and Service procedures.
  • Ensure all tasks comply with relevant statutory legislation and local policies, including Health and Safety and COSHH reporting.
  • Diagnose faults, perform rectifications, and carry out maintenance on both electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Offer expert technical support and advice to clients, ensuring optimal equipment performance.
  • Maintain impeccable cleanliness standards during all service operations.
  • Collaborate with fellow Service Engineers as needed to achieve team goals.
  • Thoroughly document all service and repair work, maintaining accurate customer service records.
  • Stay updated on policies, procedures, and work instructions to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Required Skills:

  • Possession of relevant electrical qualifications.
  • Proven experience in machinery installation and commissioning, with a preference for familiarity with PLC systems and software.
  • A versatile skill set encompassing both mechanical and electrical expertise.
  • Strong fault diagnostic capabilities coupled with extensive servicing and breakdown experience.

Desired Skills:

  • Previous exposure to food machinery would be advantageous.
  • Possession of a valid driving licence is preferred.
  • Self-motivated and high-energy individuals are highly sought after.

Shift Pattern:

  • 39 hours per week
  • Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 15:30
  • Friday: 07:00 – 14:30

Working Location:

  • Norwich, Norfolk
  • Occasional travel across the UK and abroad may be required.
