You will be focusing of commercial business, liaising directly with the companies or through distributors. Maintaining and developing existing channels and specifier relationships, as well as prospecting new potential distributors, target accounts and dealers. They are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager with an engineering background, ideally having worked with technical sales and project managing.

In your role as Area Sales Manager some of your responsibilities will include:

- Business development, generating strong sales pipeline and increasing sales
- Maintain and expand the sale of their products within their existing distributors and develop new accounts
- Develop dialogue with end users and target accounts, develop and implement strategy for your region
- Assisting with technical tenders, preparing technical specifications, AutoCad drawings etc.
- Communicate new product and service opportunities as well as feedback on competition and
market trends


As the Area Sales Manager you will be able to develop and maintain client relationships which will benefit both the financial and overall objectives of the business.


You will have:

- Engineering degree or relevant experience
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, ability to read and understand plans and schematics, experience
of SAP would be beneficial
- Minimum of three years' experience in technical sales, project estimation and management
- Experience in selling components such as valves or process technology solutions into the Food,
Drink or Pharmaceutical industries would be an advantage
- Excellent decision making, commercially and solution orientated
- Be a creative individual, possessing strong communications skills
- Self motivated individual, able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- A can do attitude, able to influence key decision makers
