Job descriptionElectrical Shift Engineer £38,000 - £40,000 Food Manufacturing Stradbroke Panama days - 6am to 6pm Are you Electrically qualified and looking to work for a family run, rapidly expanding company looking to invest almost 5 million? I am working in partnership with a family run food manufacturing business based local to Diss who have made great investments over the last few years and are continuing to expand even more! As an Electrical Engineer, you will work a 3's & 2's Panama shift on a 6am to 6pm shift. They will be growing the Engineering team from 3 to 6 made up of qualified Engineers and Setters, the business will also invest in training and staff development. As an Electrical Engineer you will be looking after Slaughter Hall, Packaging, Retail and general Production and Building Maintenance at present, you will need to be qualified to 17/18th Edition from an Engineering Degree or equivalent background: Day to day responsibilities: Carry out and complete PPM in line with company schedules Make sure that the work environment are kept clean and tidy and are kept to Health and Safety standards at all times Make sure that the set-up, change over and the operation of machinery, equipment and tools are all adhering to the companies Standard operating procedure, in order to achieve their high standards and expected level of output The company provides the highest quality of training and development opportunities but they would expect you to have gained the following skills and experience during your experience as an engineer: Extensive experience working in Manufacturing environment within an engineering position. City and Guilds (or equivalent) qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance (or similar) Be able to act on your own initiative but also be able to work as part of a team. Maintain the highest of standards when it comes to Food Safety and Health and Safety.
