Job description

Engineering Team Leader
4 On 4 Off (Nights)

Are you a Senior Engineer with an exceptional passion for never settling for second best?

Have you got a extensive experience working within a manufacturing environment?

If so, I need to speak with you.

I'm working with one of the largest Manufacturing companies in Cambridgeshire, and they are currently looking for an Engineering Team Leader to join their rapidly growing and long standing business. The company has been operating for over 100 years and has shown time and time again why they belong at the forefront of their industry. With sites all over the world, you don't get to be this successful by staying comfortable, they want people to push for new ideas, embrace change and not be afraid to stand out.

Enough about this amazing company, here is the info regarding the job itself:

As an Engineering Team Leader you'll be responsible for a team of 10 highly skilled and trained Engineers. You will need to have had experience of managing similar numbers previously, ideally in a Food environment. As well as managing and developing your engineering team, you will also be responsible for supporting and promoting a challenging and flexible mindset, constantly looking for continuous improvement.

Some of your day to day responsibilities are going to include:

  • Ensure there is a proactive response to all maintenance and breakdowns within your area.
  • Contribute and implement continuous improvement projects within your engineering team.
  • Complete shift handovers, making sure the maintenance log is completed by end of shift.

In order to work to the high standards set by this company, you will need to have had experience in carrying out the above responsibilities in a manufacturing environment and have the following skills and experience:

  • Managing a team of engineers, ideally within the Food Manufacturing industry
  • Proven track record of managing Continuous Improvement projects in the work place.
  • High attention to detail with an ability to analyse past and current data.

An opportunity to work with a company that can offer so much scope for professional development is genuinely hard to come across but if you think you have the skill set and experience they're looking for then do not miss out. Apply now!
