Job description

Multi-Skilled Engineer
Kings Lynn
£35,000
Monday to Friday - Days (1 in 3 weekends)

Are you tired of working for a company that doesn't appreciate your skill set?
Do you want to join a business that values your ideas and promotes progression and development?

If so, I need to speak with you.

I'm currently working with a Food Manufacturing company on the outskirts of King's Lynn who are looking to grow and develop their engineering team. As a family run business, they have been working out of Norfolk for the last 5 decades and have consistently shown their desire to grow and develop. This is why they need an Engineer with the same passion for excellence.

You'll be a key part of a small, tight knit team and take responsibility for all reactive and preventative maintenance, as well as contributing to site improvements. Because of the size of the company, you'll be in the best position to make a difference and genuinely have an impact.

Day to day, you key responsibilities will include:
• Contribute to new ideas and processes for pre-planned maintenance
• Carry out reactive and scheduled repairs on all machinery in the factory
• Work with other key areas of the business to improve processes and make sure the production schedule is as efficient as possible

Your working week is going to be Monday to Friday, working double days (6-2/2-10), you will have 1 week dedicated to solely focus on preventative maintenance and Continuous improvement. During this week, your hours can be flexible. If you're wanting to start earlier, not a problem. If you need to start later, not a problem either. The company understands that flexibility is vital.

Your key skills and experience will need to include:
• Multi-Skilled qualifications ideally with an electrical bias
• Experience working within Food Manufacturing/FMCG
• 17th Edition as a minimum, ideally 18th edition

The company has shown with past employees their ability to progress and develop their skill sets and offer opportunities to contribute to projects and continuous improvement within the business.
If you're ready for a change and are looking to join a company that will value you for your skill set and the difference you can make, then apply now.
