Semi-Skilled engineer Kings Lynn Monday to Friday (1 in 3 weekends) up to £30,000 (DOE) Have you always wanted to pursue a career in Engineering? Have you got a strong foundation knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering? Yes? Then I have an incredible opportunity for you. I am currently working with a company located near to Wisbech who are looking to take on a semi-skilled Engineer and develop their skill by providing industry leading training. The company is known to have incredibly high standards, allowing them to implement the best level of training you could ask for as someone looking to progress their career in engineering. As a semi-skilled engineer, you’ll be working along aside the highly qualified engineers on site and be assisting with the day to day maintenance of the entire site. Some of your day to day responsibilities will include: -Reacting to breakdowns and completing work in a timely manner in order to keep downtime to a minimum -Assist the engineers in performing preventative maintenance -Carry out day to day maintenance tasks across the site In order to work to the incredibly high standards set by this company, you will need to have the right attitude towards taking on more and more responsibilities and developing your own skill set as you progress within this company. Your key skills and experience will need to include: -Solid understanding of both mechanical and electrical engineering -Comprehensive experience working with motors, bearings and blades -The desire to progress, learn quickly and more importantly progress towards climbing the engineering ladder with this well-established company This role is the best opportunity for someone with engineering qualifications and extensive experience in Food Manufacturing, looking for that first step towards becoming an engineer.
